I don't believe the best product designers know everything. I think they're willing to LEARN anything.
Throughout my career I've repeatedly found myself working outside my formal role. I taught myself front-end development to fill a gap. Later, I stepped into product management while leading design on one of GoPro's most ambitious software initiatives.
Those experiences reinforced something I try to bring to every project: curiosity scales farther than expertise. The willingness to understand engineering, business, research, or marketing often creates better products than staying in your own lane.
